auditions for "Exit laughing"

Auditions will be held on:

Sunday and Monday, October 25 & 26 @ 7PM

Performances on:

January 8-24, 2027

7:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays;

2pm on Saturdays & Sundays

Auditions will be in the form of a cold reading of the script. A pdf copy of the script can be emailed to you by contacting us at treasurecoasttheatre@gmail.com

An audition form is required to be filled out upon arrival.

A resume and headshot are optional but appreciated.

The weekly bridge night of four Southern women is upended after one of them dies, leading the other three to "borrow" her ashes for one last wild night that involves a stripper and a police raid, ultimately teaching them to live life to the fullest.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS

CONNIE HARLAND (Female, 40-60):

From the South, the bridge night hostess who hasn’t had a life outside of that since her ex-husband left her.

RACHEL ANN HARLAN(Female, 17-25):

Southern college-aged daughter of Connie. As emotionally unstable as any young woman would be at that age.

LEONA (Female 40-60):

One of Connie’s closest friends, also Southern, who’s a beautician by profession and a caustic lush by preference.

MILLIE (Female 40-60):

Another of Connie’s long-standing bridge partners from the deep south. This is a woman who is also missing a few cards from the deck.

POLICEMAN/BOBBY (Male 17-25):

A handsome young man of many talents, especially in the physique department.
