About Treasure Coast Community Theatre

Treasure Coast Community Theatre is a brand-new cozy 55-seat community theatre located in the heart of Port St. Lucie, FL - the only community theatre in Port St. Lucie! Centrally located on US 1 in Port St. Lucie, we are also only a short drive from Jensen Beach and Fort Pierce. We offer theater productions of award-winning comedies and dramas, as well as a performing arts summer camp for aspiring young performers.

 Retiree Norman Thayer and his wife, Ethel  spend summers at their New England vacation home on the shores of idyllic Golden Pond. This year, their middle-aged daughter, Chelsea, visits with her new fiancée and his teenage son, Billy  on their way to Europe. After leaving Billy behind to bond with Norman, Chelsea returns, attempting to repair the long-strained relationship with her aging father before it's too late.

The Verdeen cousins race to plan the ultimate high school reunion before the old building is demolished in this hilarious comedy. But they’ve got many obstacles to overcome before they can pull it off. The cousins also have to impress a governor’s aide with their party-planning capabilities, so that they can nab the plum job of throwing the governor’s birthday bash — and keep their business afloat.

 The Magrath sisters -- Meg, Babe, and Lenny -- reunite after Babe shoots her abusive husband. Past resentments surface as the sisters deal with other assorted relatives and past relationships while coping with Babe's situation. Each sister must face the consequences of the "crimes of the heart" she has committed.

Jerry Sloan is a successful writer of ad jingles married to an equally successful lawyer, Alice. Living with the happy couple is Alice's curmudgeon father, Abe Dreyfus. Things get complicated when Jerry's mother Mildred loses her house in a fire and needs a place to stay. Abe and Mildred can't stand each other. After a number of hilarious confrontations, the oldsters discover that each is not so bad in a heart-warming finale.

In this award-winning tragi-comedy, when the Weston family unexpectedly reunites after the patriarch disappears, their home explodes with repressed truths and unsettling secrets. Both fiercely funny and bitingly sad, this play will leave you laughing, crying, and contemplating long after the house lights come back on. Includes very strong language and mature themes.  It may not suitable for all audiences.

Jon Trachtman and Leslie Arthur are out of work musicians who room together in New York City. To save money, Jon has been filing tax returns listing the pair as married.  When the Internal Revenue Service informs the “couple” they’re going to be investigated. Leslie masquerades as a housewife,  Complicating matters, Leslie and Jon's fiancee Kate are having a secret affair, and Jon’s mother drops in unexpectedly to meet her son’s fiancée.
